No extra prompts or time in front of the camera, no additional vendors to communicate with. P.S. We will collaborate with any CT wedding videographer you hire separately. We love meeting creatives in the community, but there’s nothing like approaching a wedding event with your well-versed team of superheroes.

If we know you like we think we do, we’re going to guess that you’re more interested in storytelling than staging a scene. And that’s exactly what our lead filmmaker, Sean, is known for. Cue the intro — Sean holds a master’s in cinematography and has worked on, produced and created award-winning short-films. Filming weddings exclusively with us, you’ll catch him teaching film production courses at the University of Hartford too. So, what can you expect with Sean and his videography assistant(s)?

While we love packing emotion and elegant visuals into our wedding films, we certainly won’t overedit or dramatize the footage. We want to immerse you in the real life goods from your wedding memories.
Cutting Down on Time In Front of the Camera
Since we work off of the same timeline, shotlists and prompts, our team doesn’t ask for any more time from you just because we’re taking video footage too. Which means more time with your guests and all the must-have footage in the bag.

This is encouraged as a customizable add-on to our New England wedding photography, but if you are already committed to another photographer (and your fiancé), we might consider lending you just our videographer. What sets your videography team apart?
Sean’s background is truly in filmmaking; he’s not someone who simply picked up a camera and hit record. His education, portfolio of productions and the trust the university puts in him (where he teaches) is just the start of why we are proud to have him with us.
What timeline do they follow?
Our videographers work off of the main photography schedule, arriving while you’re getting ready and staying through the parent dances.
What if I hire my own videographer?
The rising tide lifts all boats, right? We’ll work beautifully with just about anyone you send our way. But, working with our team not only gives you access to Sean’s breathtaking productions, but it also means there’s one less vendor relationship to look over. It’s the same contract, client portal and lead contact, Teresa.
When will we receive the final video(s)?
8 weeks is our maximum turnaround for the video delivery. Wedding videography often includes up to three cameras with their own sets of hours-long footage from the wedding. So, it takes a little more time to review, edit and compile the entire film with a cohesive storyline.
