We know you want to be part of the celebration, so we’ll capture the real life moments of you and your people with a documentary style (aka focusing on candid wedding photos). Of course, we’ll get the styled, romantic images too by putting you in the best light with a few artistic prompts that let love, happiness and fun overflow in the images.
The icing on the cake for most of our full-of-life couples is that we’ve figured out exactly how to get an abundance of photos without a photo marathon so you can attend your own cocktail hour. The secret is in the planning and creativity, but ultimately fostered by a couple who really wants to experience the magic of their wedding day, and who finds the team who can help them do just that.
Half of our work takes place after the wedding day — editing your photos and curating the heirlooms you’ll one day pass down. Believe us when we say it’s almost impossible to narrow down photos for prints and albums (most couples end up procrastinating until the end of time), so we’ll do this for you, personalizing each page and wowing you as we go.

Within 9-12 months of your wedding date, we’ll book your engagement session (from oceanside to vineyard, and apple orchards in the fall, we have amazing locations!). Your photos can be used for save the dates, wedding websites or just for fun. We always encourage taking engagement photos because that time helps us all get to know each other, and it makes it easier to take photographs on your wedding day.

Along the way, we’re here to help! You’ll have our phone number and unlimited access for help. Whether you want to know if the dads should match the groomsmen, or where to find an alpaca to dress up at your wedding, we’ve got you and will help you find a solution! We also have a streamlined pre-wedding process to gather the non-alpaca-related details.

Enjoy the food, each other and the gathering of friends and family while we do our thing. We’ll capture documentary style photos with a pop of color, and use well-placed humor to soften the mood when needed. Fun fact: photos of your entire family and wedding party typically take 35 minutes or less. You can thank us when you’re enjoying cocktail hour!
Immerse Yourself
Less than a week after the wedding, a sneak peek of photos will be in your inbox. And then just 4-6 weeks after the wedding, you’ll receive the full edited gallery to download and share away. We’ll invite you to customize your album with our in-house designer. From seeing a mockup of your photos displayed as fine art prints in your home, to guidance on print types and framing, you’ll know exactly which heirlooms are best for you.

About Our Approach To New England Wedding Photography

It’s the years of experience in our back pocket and the solid team of photographers we’ve built our team with. But beyond that, it’s the emotional storytelling and ease of working with us, especially for people who aren’t used to a camera; it’s one of a kind. The way we see and document the emotions of the day is unique to us and our perspective. You could say our way of “seeing” is different, and comes through in the photos. We’re also fiercely inclusive, and our personal values shine through when we document your celebration with love.
Working with a wedding planner is actually our preference! We take a collaborative approach from the start; we make contact right away, sync up our timelines as we go and chat behind the scenes so you experience a seamless coordination as the wedding couple. It’ll feel like we’ve worked with your planner a hundred times before, and you’ll enjoy your celebration even more.
We tell our clients: lots of candids, and gently posed portraits. Our specialty is capturing the real life moments that overflow with life and love. We also go into weddings with a cross-checked list of more traditional images you might need. While we don’t use poses, we have organic prompts that ease you into the moment, and into the best lighting for romantic photos.
One (or both) of us isn’t super keen on being in front of the camera, but we do want these moments documented. How can you help?
Our style of “not posing” and the lack of lengthy photo sessions will help you forget there’s even a camera around! We split up our photo opportunities into mini sessions throughout the day so we can capture the story of your celebration, take all the photos you need and avoid photo marathons of any kind.
